Addison Singers springtime offering

Horton & Garton proudly sponsor West London singers for their Classical Spring Concert 2016

Chiswick-based Addison Singers are preparing for an inspiring spring concert, which will feature their Oratorio and Chamber choirs performing uplifting, emotional pieces by John Rutter, Zoltan Kodaly and Richard Rodney Bennet. The concert will take place within the charming setting of St Michael and All Angels Church, Bedford Park, on March 19th.

Horton & Garton are proud supporters of the Addison Singers and are delighted to continue the relationship into 2016 for this Springtime offering.

The group, established more than 30 years ago, and comprised of singers of all ages and abilities from in and around West London, chose a reflective mood for their Spring offering this year, paying homage to British composer Richard Rodney Bennet with ‘A Farewell to Arms’ alongside other emotionally-stirring pieces, ‘Requiem’, by John Rutter and Kodaly’s ‘Missa Brevis’. The pieces have been chosen for their reflection on personal struggle and loss.

The Addison Singers will be accompanied by conductor, David Wordsworth, organist Edward Kemp-Luck, and members of the Brandenberg Sinfonia.
