Remembrance parades in west London

Sunday services of remembrance in Fulham and Shepherds Bush

Services to remember the fallen of World War Two will take place this Sunday, the 8th November, in Fulham and Shepherds Bush.

The Shepherds Bush parade will start in Sulgrave Road and walk down to the War Memorial in Shepherds Bush Green at 10.15 am. A service conducted by Father Richard Nesbitt, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Fatima and the Reverend Cameron Collington of St Simon’s Church in Shepherds Bush will then take place, led by The Mayor, Cllr Mercy Umeh.

In Fulham, the parade commences at Parsons Green Lane at 10.20 am and will march to the War Memorial in Vicarage Gardens. This service will be conducted by Reverend Canon Joseph Hawes, Vicar of All Saints’ Church, Fulham. Deputy Mayor Cllr Daryl Brown will lead it.

Please come along to remember those who fought and lost their lives during WW2. Take this opportunity to remember the bravery of all the soldiers, past and present, around the globe.
