A Vision of Heaven? Could it be Hammersmith? No, it’s Petros Singers

I take notice of anyone offering a slice of heaven.

For some, it’s Sunday morning in St Peter’s Church. For others, it’s a 40’ foot garden in Brackenbury Village. Or it’s even a Shepherds Bush crash pad with a Sub Zero refrigerator full of cold beers.

But low and behold, it seems to be in Ealing as the superb Petros Singers sing to the heavens at St Barnabas Church in Pitshanger Lane for their summer concert next Saturday evening (June 23).

Dubbed ‘A Vision of Heaven’, the gig features the works of Brahms, Byrd, Haydn and British composers Will Todd and Jonathan Dove.

I’ve long been a supporter of the group. Formerly known as the St Peter’s Singers, they have sung as far away as Russia and always put on a good show.

From sponsoring their programmes and concerts for the past couple of years, I know how active and important the group is in the local community.

So I hope you get down to St Barnabas and give them a listen.
