Rightmove reports that “the average number of days from listed to sale agreed in London is now 49.”
They also found that a price reduction on a newly-listed home left it with only a “one in three chance of finding a buyer (32%) within the 49 day time frame, compared to a 63% chance if priced right from the start.”
At Horton and Garton, we stand head and shoulders above the industry standard. From an analysis of each of our 44 sales agreed since our industry reopened in May, our homes spend an average of just 23 days on the market. A number that drops to 21 days for our Shepherd’s Bush homes. That’s less than half the London average.

Of these, 20% of our homes were sold before they hit the open market, without ever being featured on a property portal. Because we take the time to get to know our sellers and prospective buyers, we’re able to deftly match our buyers to their ideal home – often before the photography’s even on order!
