“All the world’s a stage, and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.”
Shakespeare’s wonderful verse provides the inspiration for a diverse concert with music from five centuries. We hear of the “mewling and puking infant”, the schoolboy and the lover, through to full maturity and eventual second childishness, “sans hair, sans teeth, sans everything”.
We are delighted to be joined by the prolific actor, Bruce Alexander. While perhaps best known for his portrayal of Superintendent Mullet in A Touch of Frost, Bruce is a prolific actor who’s performed regularly with the RSC and has made numerous appearances on TV, film and radio.Do join us for this profound and moving mixture of music and verse, and enjoy a glass of Pimms in the Church garden.
