A favourite among Chiswick locals, Dukes Meadows is an extensive place for golfers to practice, learn and play, featuring a driving range with 60 floodlit bays and putting practice green. 

Dukes Meadows has an excellent roster of golf coaches who teach all ages and abilities. For young golf players, there are regular group lessons for children and in the school holidays, Dukes Meadows runs golf camps for children aged 5 and up. 

Aside from golf, Dukes Meadows also offers a range of additional amenities. These include a tennis centre with indoor and outdoor courts, a gym and an indoor ski slope. The club also has a restaurant and bar on-site, which offers a variety of food and drink options. There is also on-site parking.

West London Golf Centre

Ruislip Road, Northolt, UB5 6QZ

The West London Golf Centre is one of the newest golf clubs near West London with the 9-hole golf course, called The City9 which opened in 2015.  

In addition to the golf course, the West London Golf Centre has a 26-bay floodlit driving range and a coffee shop in the clubhouse. There is also an American Golf store on site featuring a state of the art custom fit centre. 

West London Golf Centre has something for all the family, with Dinosaur Escape Adventure Golf and a Dino Soft Play area for ages 1 – 6 and a separate and secure toddler area for the younger ones.

The West London Golf Centre is in Northolt which is in West London, around a 20-minute drive from Chiswick.

Ealing Golf Club

Perivale Lane, Greenford, UB6 8TS

Ealing Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in West London, founded in 1898. The course was originally laid out by James Braid and later re-designed by Harry S. Colt, one of the greatest golf course architects of all time. 

Renowned for its excellent condition and presentation, especially its greens, this golf course in West London is popular among locals. It is an 18-hole course, set on 118 acres of land and is a par-70 that measures 6,200 yards from the gold tees. Away from the course, golf facilities at Ealing Golf Club include several practice areas. 

A renowned golfing facility in London, the club has played host to many professionals and international players over the years. In 2023, the club proudly hosted the English Champion Club Tournament.

To accommodate all golfers, Ealing provides three sets of tees. These are measured for WHS, providing players of all abilities a fair and enjoyable experience.

The clubhouse has several bars and dining rooms, with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Thanks to its views over the course, the clubhouse is also a popular choice for private functions and events.

Wyke Green Golf Club

Syon Lane, Isleworth, TW7 5PT

Originally founded in 1926, Wyke Green Golf Club is an impressive course. The par-69, 18-hole course was designed by F.G. Hawtree & J.H Taylor who remain two of the best golf course architects of all time.

A classic parkland course, Wyke Green has been used by the Middlesex County Golf Union for many matches and Championships over the years.

In addition to the golf course, Wyke Green Golf Club recently opened a Golf Studio which has two golf simulators. The clubhouse has a lovely outside seating area and the bar and kitchen are open each day. There’s also an on-site pro shop. 

Visitors can easily book tee times online, and the club offers coaching tailored to both beginners and advanced golfers. Free parking is available on-site.

Located in Isleworth, Wyke Green Golf Club is easily accessible via the A4.

West Middlesex Golf Club

Greenford Road, Southall, UB1 3EE

West Middlesex Golf Club was originally established in 1891, and the course was re-designed in 1910 by five times Open Champion, James Braid. 

The parkland course is a par-69, 18-hole course that measures 6,119 yards from the white tees. It includes many classic James Braid features such as strategically placed bunkers and tree-lined fairways. Its free draining soil ensures superb greens all year round.

Visitors are welcome every day, and members have a variety of options, offering flexibility for every type of golfer. Green fees and booking information are readily available via the club’s website here.

The club is also a proud member of the Association of James Braid Courses. This connects over 300 courses across the UK, Ireland and even one in the US, meaning members can benefit from discounted green fees at these participating clubs.

Coaching is led by Gary, an experienced golf professional who has taught at two of Ireland’s top 100 ranked courses, Tullamore and Naas Golf Club. His playing achievements include multiple All-Ireland medals, three senior scratch cup wins, representation of Leinster province and three course records.

London Airlinks Golf Course

A new addition to West London golfing, London Airlinks offers a full-size 18-hole, 5314 yards, par 68 (from white tees) golf course. It is now affiliated with England Golf, offering Slope Rating™, WHS handicaps and competitive play.

One of the greatest appeals is that London Airlinks has a pay and play set-up, making it perfect for both casual and frequent golfers who do not wish to have a formal membership. Everyone is welcome and there is no commitment needed for golfers, even those who play there regularly. 

Lessons are delivered by friendly, WGTF‑qualified coaches. They are available in various formats including one‑to‑one personal lessons, group beginner lessons, 9-hole playing lessons and junior golf camps for ages 5-16 on school holidays.

Brent Valley

Brent Valley Golf Club, located near Hanwell, West London, is a popular destination for golfers of all abilities. The club boasts a beautiful 18-hole golf course that is suitable for players of all skill levels.

Visitors are not required to book in advance for standard bays. With buckets of golf balls starting from £7.50 and hiring golf clubs from £2.00, it is a convenient and affordable choice for both beginners and experienced golfers.

For players wanting more detailed feedback, there are 10 dedicated Trackman analysis bays. These provide full swing data, shot tracking and performance insights. Booking is highly recommended for these bays, as they are in high demand.

London Airlinks

Opened in 2023, London Airlinks driving range enables golfers to gain deeper insight into their swing and areas of improvement. 

The driving range features 25 floodlit bays, each of which are fully equipped with the Toptracer technology. This technology offers interactive gameplay, access to global competitions and tracks every shot you take, giving you detailed feedback to help improve your game. What’s more, food and drinks can be ordered directly to your bay via a QR code.

West London Golf Centre

West London Golf Centre has a 26-bay floodlit driving range.

The premium gel inlay mats provide an ideal surface to hit from, while the impressive 300-yard uphill range includes multiple green targets and chipping nets.

In addition, the centre offers a 250m² putting and chipping green, giving players the chance to refine their short game skills in a dedicated space.

Hounslow Golf Park

The Games Range at Hounslow Golf Park is not a traditional driving range but somewhere golfers of all abilities, and non-golfers alike can enjoy the thrill of hitting a golf ball.

It is a two-tier range designed with the latest technology. Players can choose from a range of games or modes, including the longest drive, nearest to the pin, capture the flag and gives them access to virtual golf courses worldwide. Each bay can take up to 6 players and also has its own table, sofa and a heater.
