As Horton and Garton continues to grow across West London, so does the strength of the team behind the business.
From long standing team members who have progressed through the ranks to experienced professionals joining us in key roles, this is a moment worth pausing to recognise.
These recent promotions and appointments reflect the depth of experience within the business, the value we place on continuity and our ongoing investment in people who know West London inside out.

Aggie Tukendorf
Promoted to Lettings Director
Aggie’s journey with Horton and Garton spans more than a decade and is a true example of growth from within. She first joined the business as a summer intern before completing university and returning full time in April 2016 as a Lettings Negotiator.
Now celebrating her ten year anniversary with the company, Aggie is a familiar and trusted name to many of our landlords. Her deep understanding of the local market, combined with long standing client relationships, brings invaluable continuity to our lettings portfolio.
As of January 2026, Aggie steps into the role of Lettings Director, leading both the Lettings and Property Management teams. She will be guiding clients through the changes introduced by the Renters Rights Act and continuing to strengthen the service across the department.
A West London local, Aggie’s knowledge of the area is as strong as her commitment to the business.
Alliyah Shah Bains
Promoted to Lettings Manager
Alliyah joined Horton and Garton in June 2023 and is now entering her third year with the business. Having previously worked locally in retail, she made a decisive move into property after always wanting to pursue a career in the industry.
She began her lettings career in Kingston Upon Thames in 2019 before joining the Horton and Garton team, where her drive and consistency have quickly stood out.
Born and raised in Chiswick, Alliyah brings a strong local perspective to her role and a clear understanding of the needs of West London landlords and tenants. Her promotion to Lettings Manager recognises both her ambition and her growing leadership within the team.

Since opening Horton and Garton in 2008, growing a strong team with deep local knowledge has been fundamental to the business. These promotions recognise the people who have helped shape that culture, alongside the experience we continue to bring in as we grow.
John Horton, Owner and Director
George Smith
Promoted to Sales Manager – Hammersmith, W6
George joined Horton and Garton in March 2023 and has since become a key part of the Hammersmith sales team. His career in property is rooted in experience, having previously run his own estate agency business outside of London.
Property has always been part of George’s world, with a family background in the industry and an early start to his career in Hammersmith itself. His return to the area felt like a natural step.
Now promoted to Sales Manager for Hammersmith, George combines commercial insight with a genuine enjoyment of the property market. A Chiswick resident, he brings both professional experience and local knowledge to the role.
Jake Woolford
New starter – Sales Manager, Shepherd’s Bush, W12
Jake joined Horton and Garton in January 2026 as Sales Manager for Shepherd’s Bush, bringing over a decade of experience in residential property.
Previously working south of the river and across West and South West London, Jake ran a franchise estate agency before joining Horton and Garton. He holds a degree in Real Estate Management and is MNAEA qualified, with a strong understanding of both the technical and commercial sides of the role.
Originally from West London and now living in Brook Green, Jake’s appointment further strengthens our presence in W12 and reflects our continued focus on experienced, locally connected professionals.
