We are proud to share that Horton and Garton has been shortlisted as a finalist for High Street Business of the Year at the 2026 Hammersmith & Fulham Business Awards.
The awards received 160 applications this year, all judged to a high standard, so reaching the finalist stage in this category means a great deal to everyone at Horton and Garton.
What this recognition is really about
High Street Business of the Year businesses that show up on the high street year after year, employ local people, support their neighbours and hold their ground through the good years and the hard ones.
Horton and Garton has been part of West London for 18 years, with offices on King Street in Hammersmith and Chiswick High Road.
Over that time we have built relationships that outlast any single transaction, with clients who return, neighbours who become friends and fellow business owners we have watched grow alongside us across Hammersmith, Chiswick and Shepherd’s Bush.
The high street is where those relationships are made. It is where a valuation becomes a conversation and a conversation becomes trust.
Being recognised for the way we have contributed to that, rather than simply for the business we have done, is the part that matters most to us.
A word on how the awards work
Horton and Garton is a proud sponsor of this year’s awards and our founder John Horton sits on the judging panel for two other categories.
To be clear, John plays no part in judging High Street Business of the Year, the category in which Horton and Garton is shortlisted.
Fairness matters to us and we would not want our support for the awards to sit uneasily alongside our own nomination.
The ceremony
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 17 September at The Civic Campus, 1 Unity Square, London, W6 9JU.
We are looking forward to celebrating the evening with fellow finalists, local businesses and the wider Hammersmith & Fulham community.
